We will celebrate our love and our community on Saturday, November 7, 2015, at San Francisco City Hall - a storied spot in the struggle for LGBTQ civil rights and a great place to party!

We met on an uncharacteristically sultry San Francisco night in April 2009, connecting immediately through our love of food and travel. After two dates, Sam took off on a trip to Africa, and our nascent relationship survived despite Kevin's distaste for email. Kevin snuck a marriage proposal into our 5 year anniversary celebration, a dinner in Oakland featuring edible flowers followed by a Neutral Milk Hotel concert at the Fox Theatre. Sam said yes, as instructed. Over the past six years, we have visited Eastern Europe, Russia, Tibet, Nepal, and Southeast Asia. We've cooked countless meals with family and friends.  We've enjoyed quiet evenings at home and danced all night long.  And we're excited to tackle marriage with the same gusto!
